This month, Boonsiri Sealine Ferry proudly celebrates 15 years of connecting Thailand's beautiful islands with safe, reliable, and comfortable maritime transportation services.
Since our founding in 2008 with just two vessels and a single route, Boonsiri Sealine Ferry has grown to become one of Thailand's leading ferry operators, now serving over 1.5 million passengers annually with a modern fleet of 12 vessels covering 15 routes throughout the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea.
"When we began this journey 15 years ago, we had a simple mission: to provide safe, reliable transportation that would help travelers experience the beauty of Thailand's islands while supporting local communities," reflected Somchai Boonsiri, founder and CEO. "That mission continues to guide us today as we look toward the future."
To commemorate this milestone, Boonsiri Sealine Ferry will be offering special anniversary promotions throughout November, including:
- 15% discount on all routes for bookings made during our anniversary month
- Special anniversary merchandise for passengers
- 15 free tickets daily for the first 15 passengers at each terminal
- Community appreciation events at major destinations
Over the past 15 years, Boonsiri Sealine Ferry has achieved numerous milestones, including the introduction of Thailand's first high-speed catamaran ferry service between Chumphon and Koh Tao in 2012, the launch of our online booking system in 2015, and our recent investments in eco-friendly vessel technology.
"As we celebrate our past achievements, we're even more excited about the future," said Napha Boonsiri, Marketing Director. "We have ambitious plans for fleet expansion, new routes, and continued enhancement of our services to meet the evolving needs of our passengers."
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our passengers, employees, partners, and the local communities who have been part of our journey over the past 15 years.
